Carranza, Mexico Trip

This past weekend I was privileged to drive down to Mexico with my church to help out another church that we partner with. We built a fence, put on a fair-type thing in the park, ran the children’s program on Sunday morning, and a bunch of other things.

More at Reformed Ruffians.

Ever wonder what I been thinking about?
I been thinking bout throwing you out
I’m so happy about you. I’m fed up, so get [...]

Preaching the Gospel to Yourself

Over the past few months I’ve tried to daily preach the gospel to myself, but not in a way that makes it routine information recall, but rather a discipline throughout my day to engage everything I do from a gospel-centered, God-glorifying way.
Jerry Bridges, The Discipline of Grace,
…preaching the gospel to ourselves every day reminds us [...]

Open Mic Night

I played at the Open Mic Night on Saturday night at the It’s A Grind near our house.
My roommate James and I will play there this Saturday, probably around 9 p.m.
